NIMA

Nima means thread in Greek — the delicate line that carries Cypriot tradition from generation to generation. Inspired by UNESCO-recognized Lefkaritiko embroidery, each pair of sneakers becomes a small canvas where heritage meets contemporary design.
“Wear the heritage, wear Nima.”

At Nima, the names of our pairs are roots. They emerge from the Lefkaritika motifs, from the flora and fauna of Lefkara, from the streams and paths that carve the landscape. They are words carrying memory, place, and time. A name is not a label — it is the identity of the land becoming design.

01

Design

Each motif is digitally crafted, based on historical archives and traditional forms. Adapting it for canvas requires precision, balance, and clean geometry.

02

Industrial Embroidery

The motif is transferred into industrial embroidery, with around 90 minutes of work per pair. This stage gives the design its materiality, depth, and premium detail.

03

Preparation, industrial assembly, and hand finish

The final stage combines canvas preparation, industrial assembly, and hand finishing, completed in about 60 minutes. It’s industrial craft, not mass production — each pair is defined by the hands that finish it.

Industrial precision, finished by hand — which is why there are never many.
